What is the ruling on the Witr prayer behind Imam Al-Shafi'i, where he prays two rak'ahs and then gives salam, followed by one rak'ah and then gives salam?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: You can intend to pray the two rak'ahs as a voluntary prayer behind the imam, and pray the Witr prayer individually in the Hanafi manner, and God knows best.
