The Will for the Poor and Sisters
A woman was given by her mother an amount of 2000 dinars with the condition that if her mother passes away, she distributes it to the poor and to her sisters, excluding the brothers. Should she act according to her mother's words, or is this amount considered an inheritance?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: This amount must be given if it comes from a third of her estate, and it should be given to the poor; because it is a bequest, and the bequest comes from the third; because there is no bequest for the heirs, and God knows best.
