The Waiting Period of a Deceased Woman in Her Parents' House
My husband passed away and I am 36 years old. My mother is a widow living alone in her house, and my husband's parents are deceased. Is it permissible for me to observe the waiting period in my mother's house? If this is permissible, which is better: to observe the waiting period in my house or in my mother's?
