When I was young, I vowed to memorize the Holy Quran, but I did not understand the meaning of the vow. What are the implications for me?

I say, and with God's help: The vow to memorize the Quran is not obligatory; because a vow must be made for a specific act of worship that is of the same kind as an obligation, and memorizing the Quran is not one of those, and God knows best.
