The Validity of Ablution for One Who Falls into Flowing Water

Question
What is the ruling for someone who falls into flowing water and the water runs over their ablution parts?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: He becomes in a state of ablution; because the condition is the water reaching the parts of ablution, whether by his action or without it, and it has occurred. The intention in ablution is a Sunnah and it is not a condition for the validity of the ablution, so the validity of the ablution does not depend on the intention; because the nature of water is to remove and purify, thus using it results in purity even in the absence of intention. Likewise, the order among the parts of ablution is a Sunnah and not a condition, so his ablution is valid. Refer to: Sharh al-Wiqayah p. 82-83, and Fath Bab al-'Inayah 1: 55, and God knows best.
