What is the ruling on food products made from pig gelatin; because there are fatwas that permit this, claiming that pig gelatin completely transforms into something else, what is the ruling on that with evidence? Is it permissible for a man to curl his hair?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is known that pig gelatin does not transform into anything else, and thus it remains in its original form, making it forbidden to consume, and God knows best.
