The Time for Supplication in the Last Third of the Night
The questioner says: We know that Allah, the Exalted, descends to the lowest heaven in the last third of the night, and supplications are answered at this time. I make supplications after the Fajr prayer; will I receive the same reward for supplication as in the last third of the night?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is known that God descends with His mercy in the last third [of the night], meaning that mercy increases in it and the response to supplication is greater than at other times, and what comes after dawn is included in this, and God knows best.
