The Time for Slaughtering the Aqiqah
Is there a preference among the days of the first ten of Dhul-Hijjah and the day of Eid al-Adha for slaughtering the Aqiqah for a boy?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The aqeeqah is one of the desirable blood sacrifices as a means of drawing closer to God Almighty, just like any other sacrifice for His sake. There is no preference for one time over another in drawing closer to God with this blood, and God knows best.
