The Threshold for Gold Zakat
Why is the threshold for gold zakat calculated based on 24 karats and not 21? Does this not lead to a decrease in the number of people who pay zakat?

I say, and with God's help: The gold threshold is calculated based on the common gold in the country; if it is 21, then it is from it, and if it is 24, then it is from it, and God knows best.
