The Third Pronouncement of Divorce After Separation
My husband pronounced the third divorce, and we have been separated for four years. He claimed that he was in a state of nervousness when he did so, and I stayed at home. Is it permissible for me to continue living with him in the same house?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If during the divorce there was an unusual occurrence such as hitting, cursing, or breaking, then the divorce does not take place. You should consult the mufti to confirm the situation, and God knows best.
