The Sunnah Regarding the Number of Washes in Wudu
Is one wash of the wudu parts sufficient? I wash my face, hands, and feet three times; is this excessive or permissible? And does the increase fall under the category of extravagance?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: washing three times is the Sunnah, and there is no waste in applying the Sunnah, and God knows best.
