The Sale of Differentiation in the Form of Money
Some say that it is permissible to exchange coins (change) for paper (frozen) with a difference based on the allowance of selling one dirham for two dirhams according to Abu Hanifa. Is this correct?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: this is a usury contract, and it is not permissible according to anyone. The issue of the falas and the two falases is another matter, and God knows best.
