The Rulings Derived from the Hadith: 'What is Below the Ankles'

Question
It is mentioned in the hadith 'What is below the ankles of the garment is in the fire, meaning what is between the foot and the lower leg.' Following this hadith, an image circulates showing that a man's wearing pants below the ankle is incorrect, and it is correct for them to be above the ankle. What is the validity of this statement?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: In many narrations of the hadith, there is a restriction that it is accompanied by arrogance, meaning: pride. The prohibition is not about the length or shortness of the garment, but rather what accompanies it in terms of arrogance. Any clothing we wear that changes our hearts after wearing it; by looking down on others, it becomes prohibited. It does not matter whether it is below the ankle or above, whether for a garment or pants. And God knows best.
