The Ruling on Zakat for Unsold Goods
You said that unsold goods, as long as they are offered for sale, must have their zakat paid. But if there is zakat due from previous years, and the person was unaware of the obligation to pay zakat before, what is the ruling?

I say, and with God's help: Ignorance does not negate the obligation, so she must fulfill it for all the years, and God knows best.
