The Ruling on Zakat for Olives
Is the zakat on the oil or the olives? And what is its amount? Is there a difference between what is irrigated and what is watered by rain?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to give one-tenth of the oil or olives if they are irrigated, and half of the tenth if they are watered, and God knows best.
