What is the ruling on the money that was collected to buy a house, and has reached the nisab?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Zakat on wealth is obligatory if it reaches the threshold, regardless of what will be done with it, whether it is for building, marriage, or buying a car. And God knows best.
