The Ruling on Zakat for Gold if it is Less than the Nisab
If a piece of gold is less than 85 grams; but its value is more than the nisab, what is the ruling on zakat for it?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The criterion is that the weight of the gold must be 100 grams for zakat to be obligatory on it, and God knows best.
