Since you say that it is not permissible to wipe over a headscarf because the purpose of wiping is to touch, how do you allow wiping over the socks?

I say, and with God's success: These are acts of worship, so wiping over the socks has been established as permissible, while wiping over the handkerchief has not been established as permissible, and God knows best.
