It is recommended to visit it and pray in it; as Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "The Prophet, peace be upon him, used to visit the Quba Mosque every Saturday, both walking and riding" [in Sahih al-Bukhari 2: 61]. See: Al-Ikhtiyar 1: 175.
