The Ruling on Uttering Words of Disbelief Out of Ignorance

Question
If a person utters something or does something that takes him out of faith without his knowledge, what is the ruling? Is he considered a disbeliever or excused due to his ignorance?
Answer

I say, and with Allah's success: Words of disbelief do not require intention; the one who utters them is considered a disbeliever even if he did not intend to or was ignorant of it; because ignorance is not considered an excuse, and Allah knows best.
