It is not permissible to touch the wall when visiting the Prophet, peace be upon him, because it is contrary to the etiquette of the place of reverence, and it is not accepted; because touching and kissing are specific to some corners of the Kaaba. One should not lean against the wall or press their stomach against it, as this is not established. One should not circumambulate around the honored place, as circumambulation is specific to the Kaaba. One should neither bow down nor kiss the ground, as this is a disliked innovation.
