The Ruling on Those Who Say Friday Prayer is Nullified by the Eid Prayer
There are some imams whose thoughts are not aligned with the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah, and they encourage people to consider the Friday prayer nullified by the Eid prayer. Is it permissible for me to pray the Eid prayer behind him and leave the prayer area because I am disturbed by hearing these strange fatwas?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Listening to the Eid sermon is recommended, so it is not obligatory for you to stay, but it is preferable to listen even if you are disturbed by the speaker's words, and God knows best.
