Question
An elderly woman whose husband has passed away has daughters who take turns caring for her; however, her daughters live far away from her. Is it permissible for her to move every month during the waiting period to stay with one of her daughters?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If staying in the marital home is a temptation, it is permissible for her to move to another place. However, it would be better for her to remain in one place during the waiting period, and then afterwards she can move to the homes of others, for example. And God knows best.
