Question
There are modern devices for washing the feet during ablution, especially for medical cases or for the elderly who have difficulty moving and find it burdensome. This is done by placing the foot in the device and passing water around it without moving it. What is the ruling on washing the foot in ablution using this device?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If it is achieved to deliver water to all of the foot and between its toes, it is permissible, and God knows best.
