The Ruling on the Use of Certain Words in Dialects That May Be Names of Ancient Gods
It is commonly known in the Sudanese dialect terms like 'Kar wa Sijam' which they use to express regret over something, and there is a saying whose authenticity is unknown, that these are names of ancient gods among the Nubians. What is the ruling on using these words?

: I say, and with God's success: these words indicate certain meanings regardless of the basis of their use. If their meaning is correct according to Islamic law, it is permissible to pronounce them, and God knows best.
