The Ruling on the Percentage Taken by Associations from Orphan Sponsorship
Is it not permissible to sponsor an orphan or a family through an orphan association if there is a percentage that goes to the association? Is this not in the category of those who work on it, and do they not take a percentage of twenty percent from the sponsorship?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If the guarantee is from zakat, the association is not allowed to take anything from it, and they do not fall under the category of workers because they have their own conditions, and God knows best.
