The Ruling on the Oath of Linguistic Error

Question
A woman frequently makes oaths of linguistic error towards her children, saying: 'I swear I will slaughter you.' What is the ruling on that?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: We ask God to forgive her, and that it be considered insignificant; because it does not usually take the form of an oath, although it is preferable to leave it. And God knows best.
