The Ruling on the Leadership of the Host in the Presence of Someone More Qualified
Should the host lead the prayer if his guest is a scholar and more knowledgeable than him in religion?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible for him to lead the prayer; because he is in his house, and it is preferable for someone else to lead if he is more knowledgeable than him, and God knows best.
