Question
I am married and have a five-year-old daughter. My husband gives a lot in charity, but he is neglectful of my rights and my daughter's rights. He spends on us, but when we need something, he falls short. Is his charity accepted?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The people most deserving of support are his children and his wife, according to their needs, and his charity, God willing, is accepted. However, the matter relates to the estimation of obligations and priorities, and God knows best.
