The Ruling on the Guardian of a Woman Who is Unveiled
My brother was among the people of the mosques, and he had unveiled daughters, and he passed away. Will he be held accountable for them before Allah, the Exalted, or not?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: The sin of their adornment is related to him due to his lack of proper religious upbringing, and he should have compelled them to do so; because they are his responsibility, and it is obligatory for him to enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. And God knows best.
