The Ruling on the Fetus of a Woman Whose Husband Has Disowned Her During Pregnancy
A woman is divorced from her husband through disownment, and she is pregnant. What is the ruling on the fetus she carries? Is it permissible for the husband to reconcile with her again?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The lineage is established for the child, unless there is a denial of the child through mutual cursing during the congratulatory days after birth, and if the husband himself lied about what he accused her of, it is permissible for him to marry her again, and God knows best.
