The Ruling on the Exposure of the Worshipper's Awrah
The awrah of the imam was exposed during his prayer with the congregation for a long time without him realizing it. Does this invalidate the prayer of the followers? And what is required of the imam?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If the exposure of a quarter of a limb, such as the thigh or the buttock, lasts for a complete unit of prayer, it invalidates his prayer and the prayer of the worshippers, and God knows best.
