The Ruling on the Death of One Whose Right is Tied by His Permission
If a wife swore that she would not go out except with her husband's permission, and the husband died, does she break her oath by going out?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: After death, the oath no longer remains, so it is permissible to leave, and God knows best.
