The Ruling on the Collector or Distributor of Zakat Taking a Share from the Zakat Funds
A lady has a friend in Europe who sends her money to distribute to the poor, and she wants to take a share of the funds because she is the distributor. What is the ruling?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is not permissible to take anything from him except after obtaining permission from the sender; because she is his agent, and God knows best.
