The Ruling on Tayammum When Water is Available with Others
If water is with someone else while traveling or at the neighbors, is it permissible to perform tayammum?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If there is no hardship in seeking to perform ablution with it, then it is obligatory to seek it; otherwise, it is recommended. And God knows best.
