The Ruling on Taking from Joint Money Between Spouses Without the Other's Knowledge
I contribute with my husband in the household, and I share with him in expenses and financial loans. He is strict with us regarding expenses and keeps track of them. Is it permissible for me to take from this money without his knowledge?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: It is better for you to sit with him and determine a subscription and contribution of a certain amount of money, and you have the right to manage the other money because it is yours, and this is your right. And God knows best.
