The Ruling on Swearing by the Quran Falsehood to Prevent Harm
I swore on the Quran falsely to prevent great harm to my home and marital life, what is the ruling on that? Is it sufficient to give a kaffarah (expiation) for the oath?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: This is a perjured oath, and there is no expiation for it. We ask God to forgive you for it, and God knows best.
