The Ruling on Swearing by the Quran
Is it permissible to swear by the Quran? If it is permissible, what is the expiation if one breaks the oath?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible to swear by the Quran as it is a speech, and it is one of the attributes of God Almighty, and a expiation for the oath is required, and God knows best.
