The Ruling on Supplication During Ablution
I am accustomed to making some specific supplications during ablution, such as saying when washing my face, 'O Allah, make my face white when faces are made white,' and when washing my right hand, 'O Allah, grant me my book in my right hand,' and so on. Is this permissible?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Supplicating during ablution is recommended, whether with these supplications or others; because it is a form of remembrance, and we have been commanded to remember God Almighty. And God knows best.
