Question
Is it permissible to supplicate in colloquial language, such as when a person says: 'O Lord, take care of us, we are foolish'?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to pray in colloquial language; because it is a language like any other language, and there is no harm in using this form of prayer; because it shows weakness before God Almighty, and seeks His care for us, and God knows best.
