The Ruling on Spacing in Congregational Prayer

Question
Is congregational prayer with spacing valid, given that there is a publication claiming it is a conspiracy against the religion? My response was as follows: Ammar ibn Yasir uttered disbelief, but his heart was assured with faith, and our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) gave him the glad tidings of Paradise. What matters is the intention and the heart assured with faith; this was my answer, and Allah is the Helper.
Answer
I say, and with God's help: the alignment of rows is among the recommended acts of prayer, and it is not a condition for the prayer. If there is an excuse for not doing it due to some reason, as is the case in this pandemic, there is no issue in that. And God knows best.
