The Ruling on Slaughtering the Sacrifice Outside the Original Country
I am residing in the UAE, where will I receive more reward for slaughtering, in my country Syria or in the UAE? And is it obligatory for me to not shave or cut my nails ten days before (Eid)?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible for you to shave your hair and trim your nails, but it is contrary to what is preferable. It is permissible to slaughter in Syria or the Emirates, but if you see that benefiting from it in Syria is greater, that would be preferable. And God knows best.
