The Ruling on Sitting with Non-Mahram During the Waiting Period in the Presence of a Mahram
Can a woman in her waiting period receive visitors who are non-mahram, such as her husband's brother, in the presence of a mahram?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible for a woman in her waiting period to receive non-mahrams, provided there is no seclusion or temptation, and God knows best.
