The Ruling on Shaking Hands with the Husbands of One's Stepdaughters
A woman whose husband has passed away, and she is the second wife, can she shake hands with the husbands of her stepdaughters while she is in the waiting period?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The husbands of the daughters of the husband are foreigners, and they are not among the prohibited ones, so it is not permissible to shake hands with them, nor to uncover oneself to them during the waiting period and outside of it, and God knows best.
