What is the ruling on shaking hands with a woman who is fifty or sixty years old, or kissing her hand out of respect, if she is not a mahram?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If she is an old woman who is not desired, then there is no harm in shaking her hand and touching her hand. The age of the old woman who is not desired is determined by custom, and this is usually above seventy years old, and God knows best.
