The Ruling on Sending Blessings on the Prophets Other than Our Master Muhammad
Is it permissible to send blessings on the prophets or is it exclusive to Our Master Muhammad - peace be upon him -? For example, is it permissible to say, O Allah, send blessings upon Our Master Jesus? And why?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible to pray for the prophets in general; because it is a form of supplication, and God knows best.
