The Ruling on Seeking Refuge from the World After the Death of a Person
What is the ruling on uttering the phrase: 'I seek refuge with Allah from a world in which I am not' by a son for his deceased father, and sharing it on social media?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Seeking refuge from the world is permissible, and its lack of some virtuous people is a strong reason to seek refuge from it, and God knows best.
