The Ruling on Saying Bismillah in Loud Prayer
Is it permissible to perform a loud prayer if the imam does not recite Bismillah either secretly or aloud?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Reciting the Basmala is a Sunnah, and it is disliked to leave it out when reading silently in prayer, and God knows best.
