The Ruling on Sacrificing on Behalf of Parents Without Their Permission
According to Abu Yusuf, it is permissible to give the Fitrah on behalf of parents, a wife, and an adult son while they are under his care without their knowledge, as it is commonly permitted. Does the same apply to the sacrifice?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible in the case of breaking the fast due to the existence of permission as indicated by custom, and it is also permissible in the case of the sacrifice. And God knows best.
