Question
Is it permissible to sacrifice a sheep with a severed udder?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: It is not permissible to sacrifice a sheep that has a severed udder or cannot nurse its offspring, or whose udder has dried up; all of these cases are included. It is stated in "Al-Taybin": neither the one with a severed udder nor the one that cannot nurse its offspring, nor the one whose udder has dried up, as mentioned in Al-Sharnbalaiah 1: 270.
